August 2018: Radium Prototype

In early June, I began rehearsals for a new show, Radium Prototype, that premiered at The Tank as part of their DarkFest Series. An entirely devised work, the piece detailed the story of the Radium Girls, a group of young women who were employed at hazardous radium dial painting factories in the early 1920s. The 90-minute show featured both primary sources and original material as text.
